Company Profile: Hangzhou Xixi Building Co., Ltd. (Brand Name: CBC)
Hangzhou Xixi Building Co., Ltd., operating under the brand name CBC, is a leading Chinese provider of customized building solutions headquartered in Hangzhou, China. Established in 2017, CBC builds upon over a decade of deep industry expertise-its core team members each bring more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the global construction and modular housing sectors. From its inception, CBC has maintained a strong international focus, serving clients across diverse markets with innovative, high-quality, and code-compliant building systems.
CBC holds a pioneering position in China's modern prefabricated construction industry. Since as early as 2007, the company has been at the forefront of developing and commercializing two key product lines: flatpack container houses and light gauge steel villas. Over the years, CBC has not only refined these solutions but also introduced groundbreaking innovations that have redefined industry standards.
One of CBC's most significant technical achievements is the development of a unique flatpack roof system featuring injected polyurethane (PU) foam as the core insulating material. This innovation elegantly resolves a long-standing engineering challenge in modular construction: achieving an optimal balance among airtightness, structural strength, and full factory prefabrication. By integrating high-density PU foam within a precision-engineered roof panel, CBC ensures superior thermal performance, weather resistance, and ease of on-site assembly-all while maintaining the compact, transport-friendly nature of flatpack design. This system has become a hallmark of CBC's container house offerings and is widely praised by international clients for its reliability and efficiency.
In parallel, CBC was the first company in China to adopt the FrameCAD system for the design and manufacturing of light gauge steel villas. FrameCAD-a globally recognized platform for cold-formed steel (CFS) construction-enables CBC to deliver highly accurate, digitally fabricated structural components with exceptional speed and consistency. Leveraging this advanced technology, CBC produces light steel frame systems that meet stringent international building codes and performance requirements. Today, CBC's light gauge steel villas are extensively used and well-received in markets such as Australia, New Zealand, Chile, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, and beyond, where durability, rapid deployment, and resilience to seismic or climatic stresses are critical.
CBC operates with impressive production capacity to support large-scale and fast-turnaround projects:
Steel structure fabrication: 1,000 metric tons per month
Light steel houses: 30,000 square meters per month
Container houses: 850 units per month
Peel & stick wall panels: 450,000 square meters per month
Beyond manufacturing, CBC offers comprehensive architectural design services tailored to local regulatory frameworks. Whether a project is destined for a cyclone-prone island in the Pacific or a suburban development in Australasia, CBC's design team ensures full compliance with regional building codes, zoning laws, and environmental standards. This client-centric approach minimizes approval delays and construction risks, providing peace of mind from concept to completion.
Technologically, CBC is a forward-thinking enterprise that embraces digital transformation in construction. The company's design and R&D activities are powered by Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Autodesk Revit software. Using these tools, CBC creates intelligent 3D building models that simulate real-world performance-from structural integrity and energy efficiency to spatial planning and material logistics. These digital twins enable precise coordination among disciplines, reduce errors during construction, and facilitate seamless collaboration with clients and contractors. Moreover, CBC leverages its BIM capabilities to generate photorealistic 3D renderings and detailed visualizations, allowing clients to fully envision their projects before a single component is manufactured.
The heart of CBC's success lies in its dynamic team of architects, structural engineers, and project managers. Young, professional, efficient, and ambitious, this team embodies CBC's core values: innovation, responsiveness, cost-effectiveness, and client satisfaction. They work closely with customers to understand unique needs-whether it's a disaster-relief shelter, a luxury eco-resort, a remote mining camp, or a multi-unit residential complex-and deliver tailored solutions that are not only structurally sound but also aesthetically pleasing and economically viable.
CBC's commitment to sustainability further distinguishes it in the global market. The use of recyclable steel, energy-efficient insulation, and factory-controlled production processes significantly reduces waste, carbon footprint, and on-site disruption compared to traditional construction methods. Additionally, CBC's modular systems support circular economy principles-buildings can be disassembled, relocated, and repurposed with minimal loss of value.
Hangzhou Xixi Building Co., Ltd. (CBC) stands as a trusted partner for international developers, governments, NGOs, and private clients seeking reliable, scalable, and future-ready building solutions. With nearly two decades of cumulative industry leadership, cutting-edge technology, robust manufacturing infrastructure, and a customer-first philosophy, CBC continues to shape the future of offsite construction-one innovative, high-performance building at a time.
